Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive fractional treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to remodel and contour the skin and underlying tissue.
The treatment uses gold-coated microneedles that penetrate the skin to controlled depths. This creates a controlled healing response, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. At the same time, radiofrequency energy is delivered beneath the skin's surface, generating controlled heat within the tissue.
The combination of microneedling and RF energy helps to tighten connective tissue, improve skin quality and encourage progressive remodelling. Treatment depth and energy levels can be adjusted according to the treatment area, skin condition and individual treatment goals.
-
Morpheus8 can be used on several areas of the face and body, including:
Face
Jawline
Neck
Décolletage
Other areas of the body where skin tightening or texture improvement is appropriate
Your treatment plan will be determined following a consultation and assessment of your skin and concerns.
-
Before your treatment
A consultation will be carried out to understand your concerns, assess your skin and review your medical history. The treatment area may be photographed to help assess your progress.
Approximately one week before treatment, you should stop using potentially irritating topical products such as acids, retinol, vitamin C products and scrubs, unless otherwise advised.
If you take blood-thinning medication, including NSAIDs such as aspirin or ibuprofen, discuss this with your doctor before making any changes to your medication.
On the day of treatment
Our team will assist with removing any makeup or products from the treatment area. Your treatment plan will be reviewed and the area prepared.
Numbing cream or local anaesthetic may be used to improve comfort. Topical numbing typically takes approximately 30–45 minutes to take effect, and supplemental local anaesthetic may be used where appropriate.
The Morpheus8 treatment itself generally takes around 20–60 minutes depending on the size and number of areas being treated. During treatment, you may experience a brief sensation of heat or pressure.
Immediately afterwards, the treated area is likely to appear red and swollen. Small pinpoint marks or scabs may also develop as the skin heals.
Recovery and aftercare
Morpheus8 usually involves a short recovery period, with visible redness and swelling commonly settling over the following few days. Some patients may experience a sensation of warmth for several days, and small pinpoint scabs can occur.
After treatment:
Avoid touching or massaging the treated areas for the first 24 hours.
Keep the treated area clean and dry for the first 24 hours.
Wash with lukewarm water and allow the skin to air dry rather than rubbing with a towel.
Do not apply makeup to the treated area for 24 hours.
Avoid retinol and other potentially irritating active ingredients until advised that it is appropriate to resume them.
Avoid saunas, hot baths and jacuzzis for 24 hours.
Avoid strenuous exercise and activities that cause significant sweating for 24 hours.
Avoid direct sun exposure immediately after treatment.
Once appropriate after treatment, protect the area from direct sunlight using a broad-spectrum physical SPF 50 with strong UVA protection.
Follow any additional personalised aftercare instructions provided by the clinical team.

Some improvement may become visible within the first few weeks following treatment, but Morpheus8 results develop progressively as collagen and elastin production increases and the treated tissue remodels.
Results are typically more noticeable around 4–6 weeks after treatment, with continued improvement possible over the following months.
A course of at least three treatments, usually spaced 4–6 weeks apart, may be recommended depending on your individual concerns and treatment goals.
The number of treatments required will be discussed during your consultation.
-
